LA GRAN PLAZA DE FORT WORTH® MALL APRIL 1, 2023 (Fort Worth, TX) — La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® Mall offers visitors and families a convenient and exciting place to shop, dine and see. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® announces the entertainment schedule for the month of April. DINO PLAZA GRAND OPENING
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is excited to announce the grand opening of Dino Plaza a 70 by 40 square foot dinosaur exhibit featuring 10 realistic animatronic dinosaurs. The dinosaurs are found living in a jungle like environment, within this space you can relish a beautifully handcrafted 20-foot paper mâché volcano. The lighting and sounds incorporated into this exhibit creates a breathtaking ambiance scene which will change throughout the day elevating the visitor experience. This majestic exhibit strives to be a family fun attraction for all La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth visitors.
The grand opening of Dino Plaza is scheduled for Saturday, April 15th at 2 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public during a special schedule. Dino Plaza is conveniently located inside the mall and can be accessed the quickest through entrance one, signage and directions to the exhibit can be found at all other mall entrances.
INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY FESTIVAL
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is known for a being a place that celebrates the performing and visual arts, and it is an honor to continue our legacy by celebrating International Dance Day with a dance festival. La Gran Plaza invites you to this free dance festival which will feature a variety of dance troupes from all around the DFW. The event is scheduled for April 29th and will kick off at 2 p.m. on the Tricolor Auto Stage.
CHILDRENS DAY CELEBRATION
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth celebrates "Children's Day" a day full of joy and laughter. In Mexico, one of the happiest and most anticipated days of the year is “Children's Day”; it is a special celebration just for kids. At La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth we celebrate this with a dance contest for children between the ages of 3 to 10 where they can compete for three prizes. On top of that, the festivity continues with a clown show, balloons, and many fun activities on the main stage and other parts of the mall. The event is scheduled for Sunday, April 30th start time 2 p.m. and will take place on both the Tricolor Auto Stage as well as the stage area on the third floor of “El Mercado”.
