LA GRAN PLAZA DE FORT WORTH® MALL, December 1, 2023 (Fort Worth, TX) — La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® Mall offers visitors and families a convenient and exciting place to shop, dine and see. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® announces the entertainment schedule for the month of December. Pictures with Santa Claus
Santa Claus will be visiting La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth starting Friday, December 1st and will be here for the rest of the holiday season, make sure to stop by and visit him at the gingerbread house by entrance #2 at the Tricolor Auto Stage, you will have the opportunity to take pictures with your personal phone for free or with a professional photographer, the hours of availability are as follows, no appointments required.
December 1st – 3rd: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
December 9th - 10th: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
December 16th – 23rd 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
December 24th 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Coffee with a Cop
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Police Department invite you to the Coffee with a Cop community outreach event, stop by and meet the officers who patrol La Gran Plaza and our surrounding communities. The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of Mexican sweet bread and ask questions and share your concerns with the police officers. The event will be on Friday, December 8th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
Virgin of Guadalupe Celebration
The Virgin of Guadalupe is considered the Patroness of Mexico and the Continental Americas; she is also venerated by Native Americans. On this special day Tuesday, December 12th La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth celebrates with a religious ceremony, the display of a beautifully adorned altar of colored roses, The Mariachi Mexicanisimo singing a serenade of songs to Our Lady of Guadalupe and several dance performances by a group of matachines and ballet folklorico.This event will start at 4 p.m. and will take place on the Tricolor Auto Stage, this is a free event and is open to the public.
Posadas Navideñas
The Christmas season here at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is magical it is also one of our busiest seasons of the year welcoming shoppers with original Christmas decorations that exude vibrant colors, and a festive spirit. We celebrate the traditional Mexican “Posada Navideña” that commemorates the journey of Mary and Joseph before Christ was born. The “Posadas Navideñas” typically span several days ranging from December 16th to the 23rd. Each “Posada Navideña” here at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will consist of dance performances, live music entertainment, and free giveaways. Come and celebrate with us one of the greatest seasons of the year. The Posadas Navideñas here at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth are the following dates:
