POPSICLES WITH A COP
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Police Department invite you to the Popsicles with a Cop community outreach event, stop by and meet the officers who patrol La Gran Plaza and our surrounding communities. The mission of this outreach event is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Enjoy a popsicle and ask questions and share your concerns with the police officers. This event will take place at the main stage on Friday, June 5th starting at 2 p.m.
FESTIVAL DE FUTBOL
The biggest games deserve the best atmosphere. Put on your team’s colors, bring your energy, and get ready to celebrate every goal together! The Festival de Fútbol en La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth brings together family, community, and culture. Celebrate with us and let’s keep the tradition alive. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will host World Cup watch parties and pre-game events featuring Mexico's first three matches:
Mexico vs. South Africa - Thursday, June 11th 2 p.m. (Pregame event 12 p.m.)
Mexico vs. South Korea - Thursday, June 18th 8 p.m. (Pregame event 6 p.m.)
Mexico vs. Czechia - Wednesday, June 24th 8 p.m. (Pregame event 6 p.m.)
These soccer game watch parties will feature a large LED Screen, live music entertainment, and family activities 2 hours before the start of each game, so come prepared to celebrate and have a great time.
FATHER'S DAY CELEBRATION
Father’s Day is a special day to honor and appreciate all the father figures in our lives. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth invites you to celebrate Father's Day with us. This event will take place on the main stage and will start at 2 p.m. and will feature live music performances and a raffle of gifts. This year’s entertainment lineup consists of “Los de Porte” a sierreño band, “Arsenal Norteño” a norteño sax band, as well as our very own “Mariachi Mexicanisimo”. Aside from the live music performances there will be a photo backdrop to capture that special photo with dad. The event will be on Sunday, June 21st.
