LA GRAN PLAZA DE FORT WORTH® MALL, MAY 1, 2025 (Fort Worth, TX) — La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® Mall offers visitors and families a convenient and exciting place to shop, dine and be entertained. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® announces the event schedule for the month of May. Mother’s Day Celebration
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will be celebrating Mother’s Day with several live music and dance performances. This event also features a beautifully decorated photo backdrop to snap the perfect picture with mom. This Mother’s Day Celebration always consists of raffles and giveaways and fun contests. We encourage all mothers to attend the event, there is always a special surprise waiting for them.
This year’s event will be on Saturday, May 10th from 1-6 p.m. and will take place on the Tricolor Auto Stage. Stop by and visit us.
Cinco de Mayo
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is excited to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and be able to partner with Estrella Media Co. and its owned and operated radio and TV stations: La Raza 93.7, La Ranchera 106.7, Luna 98.3, and Estrella TV once again. Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration commemorating "A battle in Puebla, Mexico, back in the 1800s.
At La Gran Plaza, we celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a cultural festival; this all-day event features live music and Ballet Folklórico dance performances. The Mexican culture and music are incredibly diverse, and, as always, we aim to showcase a variety of bands, each appealing to our diverse shoppers and visitors. This year's event will consist of two stage areas with live music. The inside Tricolor Auto Stage will have local bands like sierreño, mariachi, cumbia, and tierra caliente style as well as ballet folklorico.
The stage will be adorned with Mexican-themed colors, drapery, and flowers, highlighting the vibrancy of this rich culture.
The outside stage will host a retro-style themed show with famous bands like:
Bryndis X Siempre/ Mojado/ Los Palominos/La Industria del Amor/ Chicos de Barrio/ Mandingo/ Massoro/ Los Greys/ Salomon Robles/ Los Garcia Bros.
This two-stage event is scheduled for Sunday, May 11th and will start at 1 p.m. The event is free, family-friendly, and open to the public.
Mammogram Mobile Clinic
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is partnering with the Moncrief Cancer Institute to provide mammograms. These cancer screenings will be offered via mobile clinic, please call (817) 288-9970 or visit https://www.moncrief.com/screening to book your appointment. The mammograms are free for women without health insurance and who qualify, appointments are limited so book at your earliest convenience.
This mobile clinic will take place outside the office tower on Friday, May 16th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Memorial Day Ceremony
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is honored to host our annual Memorial Day Ceremony to pay tribute to our fallen soldiers. We cordially invite you to join us for this solemn occasion on Monday, May 26th at 11:00 AM, at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
This year, we are privileged to co-host the event with our esteemed colleagues from the American Legion Post #569. The ceremony will feature heartfelt personal testimonies from war veterans, recounting their experiences in active duty and commemorating their fallen comrades. In addition, the Trimble Tech Color Guard and the Northside High School Band will grace us with their participation, enhancing the commemorative ambiance of the day.
