El Gran Festival de Rattler
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth and the Texas Rattlers, Fort Worth’s professional bull riding team, are teaming up for an extraordinary event filled with excitement and entertainment. Get ready to ride on a journey of exhilaration on the Texas Rattlers mechanical bull. For the young ones, we offer face painting and a balloon artist. The melodies of the La Gran Plaza Mariachi band will transport you to the heart of México, creating an atmosphere of enchantment and celebration. Prepare to be enthralled by the captivating performances of Ballet Folklorico, a mesmerizing dance ensemble that will transport you to a world of vibrant colors and rich traditions. Let's make the Texas Rattler our team! This fun-filled event will take place on the Tricolor Auto Stage, Sunday, October 1st 1-6 p.m.
Seminario Para Negocios Hispanos
The Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Bank of America will host a workshop geared towards Hispanic owned businesses titled "Como Hacer Crecer Su Empresa" or "How to Grow your Business". Event attendees will learn three valuable skills: The three most important tools to grow your business, the different forms of entrepreneurial growth, and what resources you will be able to use during your growth. If you are a small business owner this is an event, you don’t want to miss. This financial workshop will be hosted at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth’s Town Hall Auditorium on Wednesday, October 11th 11:30 a.m.
Día de los Muertos
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will celebrate the departed with a "Día de Los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead" event. This special ceremony will feature religious blessings of decorated altars with offerings and a serenade of songs dedicated to the departed. Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) is a two-day holiday that reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor their departed family members that have passed. These altars are decorated with bright yellow marigold flowers, photos of the departed, and the favorite foods and drinks of the one being honored. The offerings are believed to encourage visits from the land of the dead as the departed souls hear their prayers, smell their foods, and join in the celebrations! The event will begin at 1 p.m. and will be held at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
Malloween
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth invites the entire community to enjoy a night of family fun, celebrating Halloween or in our case MALL-O-WEEN. Stop by and visit us today, Tuesday, October 31st. We invite you to wear your favorite costume, there will be entertainment for the kids, candy, prizes, and a costume contest. The event will start at 5 p.m. and will take place at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
