Play Pickleball at La Gran Plaza
Grab your paddle and join the fun! Discover the exciting world of pickleball at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth. A sport for all ages and skill levels! Ready for the challenge? The pickleball court is open Monday through Thursday during the summer months (June/July/August), from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. To reserve the court, you are asked to call 817.922.8888 and press 4, the hours to reserve your time slot are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday.

La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is celebrating 20 years!
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is celebrating 20 years, and over the course of several weeks we will commemorate with a series of special events. Friday, September 6 at 11 a.m. we kick off with the first event: “Coffee with the Community”.
Come and enjoy coffee and pan dulce and meet organizations and representatives from our community. Our City Councilwoman Jeanette Martinez for Fort Worth City Council District 11 will be present to answer any questions related to City Council issues, a team of Fort Worth Police Department officers who work in our community will also be here. Did you know that we have “La Gran Biblioteca”, representatives from the Fort Worth Public Library will also be present to talk about the events they host and the programs they offer. Comunidades Zacatecanas a local non-profit will also be available to discuss all the resources and services they provide to our community. Texas Health Community Hope, who we work with to promote health programs and initiatives will also be present to help answer any questions about community health.
Alebrijes: Painting Workshop
The richness of our Mexican handicrafts, known and admired all over the world, will be the center of attention in an artistic workshop.
Get ready for an event full of creativity and color! We invite you to our Alebrijes Workshop, where children will be able to give color and life to these incredible creatures, just as the artist Pedro Linares López dreamed them.
Artist Jorge Rodriguez and his family will lead this special workshop, designed for the first 100 children ages 5 to 12.
The little artists will be able to take their work home with them! Plus, we'll have two gigantic surprises not to be missed, so be on time to secure your spot! We look forward to seeing you.
This event will be Saturday, September 7th from 2-4 p.m. at the Tricolor Auto Stage inside La Gran Plaza.
Fiestas Patrias 2024: Fort Worth’s Official Grito de Independencia
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will celebrate "Las Fiestas Patrias" this is one of the largest cultural festivals with live music entertainment in the DFW area. The "Grito de Dolores" also known as the "Grito de Independencia", or the "Declaration of Independence" is recited by the Mexican Consulate's Consul General of Dallas on the center stage. This all-day festival unites the community celebrating the Mexican culture and heritage here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The event consists of live music bands and ballet folklorico dance performances.
Celebrate the Fiestas Patrias with La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth! Sunday, September 15th, starting at 12:00 p.m., for a family-friendly event filled with live music and delicious food throughout the day. Plus, we are the only place in Fort Worth with the OFFICIAL "GRITO" CEREMONY.
Fort Worth Public Library “College and Career Fair”
La Gran Biblioteca here at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will be hosting a “College and Career Fair”, aiming to promote higher education programs in our community. Representatives of several universities and trade schools will be available to provide information about admissions, scholarships, financial aid among other important topics. This event will be on Saturday, September 21st at the Tricolor Auto Stage from 1-3 p.m.
