COFFEE WITH THE COMMUNITY
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth and the Fort Worth Police Department invite you to the Coffee with a Cop community outreach event, stop by and meet the officers who patrol La Gran Plaza and our surrounding communities. The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of Mexican sweet bread and ask questions and share your concerns with the police officers. Make sure to stop by and visit us on Friday, September 5th at 11 a.m. at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
FIESTAS PATRIAS 2025: "Fort Worth’s Official Grito de Independencia Celebration"
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will celebrate "Fiestas Patrias" this is one of the largest cultural festivals with live music entertainment in the DFW area. The "Grito de Dolores" also known as the "Grito de Independencia", or the "Declaration of Independence" is recited by the Mexican Consulate's Consul General of Dallas on the center stage. This all-day festival unites the community celebrating the Mexican culture and heritage here in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The event consists of live music bands and ballet folklorico dance performances.
Celebrate the Fiestas Patrias with La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth! Sunday, September 14th, starting at 12:00 p.m., for a family-friendly event filled with live music and delicious food throughout the day. Plus, we are the only place in Fort Worth with the OFFICIAL "GRITO" CEREMONY.
FORT WORTH PUBLIC LIBRARY: “College and Career Fair”
La Gran Biblioteca here at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will be hosting a “College and Career Fair”, aiming to promote higher education programs in our community. Representatives of several universities and trade schools will be available to provide information about admissions, scholarships, financial aid among other important topics. This event will be on Saturday, September 20th at the Tricolor Auto Stage from 1-3 p.m.
MARIACHI LOS PEREZ
Mariachi Los Pérez returns to the Tricolor Stage, coming directly from Nochistlán, Zacatecas. Join us to enjoy this musical performance on Sunday, September 21, starting at 2:00 p.m. It will be an afternoon filled with traditional Mexican music, culture, and pride, in the company of a mariachi with great tradition and trajectory.
