MAY 1, 2022 (Fort Worth, TX) — La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® Mall offers visitors and families a convenient and exciting place to shop, dine and visit. La Gran Plaza of Fort Worth® announces the entertainment schedule for the month of June. As usual El Mariachi Mexicanisimo de La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will take the TricolorAuto® stage every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. and Trio Romance every Saturday and Sunday in the food court from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth® Mall is excited to celebrate "El Cinco de Mayo" with live music performances featuring "El Mariachi El Mexicanisimo, El Trio Romance, Los de Rodríguez, y Vicky y La Sonora Reventón and special dance performance from El Ballet Folklorizo Azteca. The event is free and will take place on Sunday, May 1, starting at 1 p.m. at the Tricolor Auto Stage.
La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth and the American Legion Post #569 will be hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday May 30th inside the shopping mall at the Tricolor Auto Stage (La Gran Plaza main stage). The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The American Legion Post #569 will be inviting several veteran organizations from the area. Jesse Almanderez a U.S. Air Force Vietnam veteran and Manny Herrera a U.S. army Vietnam veteran will be guest speakers and provide personal testimonies of their fallen comrades. Fort Worth city council member for district 9 Elizabeth Beck a veteran herself will be in attendance and will also provide some remarks for the veterans in attendance and for families of any fallen soldiers. U.S. Congressman Marc Veasey who represents the 33rd congressional district of Texas will also be in attendance and will be a guest speaker. The Trimble Tech High School Color Guard will be presenting colors and a cadet will reside the national anthem. American Legion Post #569 Commander Ramiro Arreola will present a POW/MIA table acknowledgement and will make a special recognition of veterans. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will also have an army truck and an old fire truck parked outside of the shopping mall near the property’s flag poles in honor of our fallen soldiers
