MVP SPORTS FAN store opens at La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth
LA GRAN PLAZA DE FORT WORTH MALL, January 13, 2023 (Fort Worth, TX) La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth is excited to announce the official grand opening of the MVP SPORTS FAN STORE a sports apparel clothing shop. The entrance to this new store is through The HookUP Fashion a premium urban clothing, headwear, apparel, and accessories store. Greg Ware store owner of MVP SPORTS FAN STORE also owns and manages The HookUP Fashion and The HookUP Apparel City.
“We thought MVP Sports would be a great addition to the HOOKUP,” said Ware, "I still want customers to enter through the HOOKUP and have a chance to combine sports jerseys and apparel and headwear with premium urban goods as far as jeans, they can mix and match for the whole family”.
The MVP SPORTS FAN STORE will carry NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, brands like New Era, 47 Brand, Pro Standard, Nike, college sports apparel like TCU horned frogs, UT Longhorns, local DFW sports teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and the Dallas Stars among other popular sports teams.
“You can always come in, we will always have a clearance section with some of our older styles, we have some of our quick releases, and some deals of the day in both locations”, said Ware. “You can mix and match and of course the point of purchase is at the HookUP so you can still go back and forth from both stores”.
The HookUP Apparel City a streetwear clothing store owned by Ware reopened at the beginning of the year after receiving a full remodel.
“We wanted to make it look more modern, I like the grass, a lot of hats, a lot of different ways we can show how you can mix and match the clothes,” said Ware. “We wanted to reinvent the store make it look a lot different”.
Ware hopes that the remodel of the HookUP Apparel City and the extension of MVP SPORTS FAN to the HookUP Fashion will be of great value to his current customers and to future shoppers.
“It’s been great, people have been coming in and giving great compliments, loving the store the build out, they feel comfortable, and they just love it”, said Ware. “It has all this sports stuff and people have been needing it and of course The HookUp has been here for a while, so it is a well-known brand and brings a lot of people to La Gran Plaza, all races it is good for the community”.
