Children's Day

April is one of the happiest and most anticipated months of the year in Mexico, specifically April 30th the last day of the month. It’s “Kids or Children’s Day”, a special celebration for all children. This is also a traditional holiday in Mexico that is well received and celebrated as many people use this day to become a kid again. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will host a dance contest exclusively for children ages 3 to 10. There will be prizes for the first, second and third place winners, there will be a clown show, colorful balloons, and other fun activities on the main stage, activities/entertainment will take place in different areas of the mall on the main stage, food court, and El Mercado. La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth will give out toys to the children and several of our businesses will sponsor and donate gifts that will be raffled during the event. The event will be on Sunday, April 26th starting at 1 p.m.
