El Chanclazo Duo

Formed in the DFW in late 2019, El Chanclazo is a musical collective that is made up of various musicians of Latin America that are specialized in performing a variety of Latin American musical genres. Co-lead by Mariana Grahl (vocals) and Pepe Valdez (guitar and musical director), El Chanclazo is committed to rescuing a specific repertoire that they consider is important to perform and that they enjoy playing. Working their way through boleros, valses, rancheras, sones, rumbas, cumbias, huapangos, and chacareras, El Chanclazo tries to bring to its audience the experience of a night of what they call “Bohemia”.
