Virgen de Guadalupe Celebration

The Virgin of Guadalupe is considered the Patroness of Mexico and the Continental Americas; she is also venerated by Native Americans. On this special day Thursday, December 12th La Gran Plaza de Fort Worth celebrates with a religious ceremony, the display of a beautifully adorned altar of colored roses, The Mariachi Mexicanisimo singing a serenade of songs to Our Lady of Guadalupe and several dance performances by a group of matachines and ballet folklorico. This event will start at 4 p.m. and will take place on the Tricolor Auto Stage, this is a free event and is open to the public.
