La Doña

The mural "La Doña" beautifully showcases in its splendor Maria Felix, one of the most recognized actresses of the golden age of Mexican cinema. Felix starred in 47 films, and died at 88, leaving a multi-million-dollar fortune. This artwork was designed in 2021 by muralist Jorge Rodriguez and can be found on an exterior wall of the property on the west side near the office tower. The purpose of this mural according to Rodriguez is to convey a message of remembrance and a sense of home for the community. There is a phrase on the mural which hopes to provide a sense of belonging and it states: "Having a little piece of Mexico in Fort Worth, Texas is a pleasure. Welcome." The mural was created with acrylic paints and a protective sealant.
